UK Psychic Research is NOT a multidisciplinary scientific research project. Instead it is an attempt to build up a set of beliefs based on logical conclusions as the result of studying common human experiences. We call these beliefs "Insights".
OUR FOUNDATION INSIGHT is the basic belief that the "I" or "Me" inside all human beings is both now in life, and after so called "Death" an unseen energy of spiritual consciousness.
Why aren't we scientific?
We accept that spiritual experiences are of another non-physical dimension. It is therefore impossible to ever prove paranormal experiences through sciences based on physical laws. Quantum Physics research hits the barrier between the two dimensions - spiritual and physical - and rebounds back into its own dilemna raised by never ending new questions that cannot be answered through mathematical equation.
INSIGHTS
Our Insights are recorded as a "Belief" if they meet certain criteria. The main criteria is that if similar so called "Spiritual" or "Paranormal" experiences are accounted for by many people across different societies, cultures and time periods, then the common elements of these experiences can be recorded as "Insights". We try to ascertain that personal or group experiences are from those people who are not medically recorded as being of unsound mind. We also try to eliminate natural physical causes of these "experiences".
We use intelligent reasoning, and logical thinking.
An "Insight" can become more than a "Belief" at a personal level if personal spiritual experiences or other evidence leads to the conclusion that there is no doubt in their Belief. An Insight can then be described as "Personal Faith"
Validated Insights should be capable of being held as likely human experiences throughout all of human existence - past, present and future.
OUR MAIN DISCIPLINE/ RULE
This is to work only within what we describe as "The Light" when exploring spiritual matters. The "Light" is the Light and Love which we can all access. It is ultimately from God. We warn of the dangers of exploring dark spiritual forces, and the dangers of negative energies. Our foundation is built on spiritual love and care for others. To move away from self-centredness.
WHAT ARE OUR AIMS?
To establish through our research a set of "Insights" which can be used as a source of reference fo those who do not hold strong mainstream religious beliefs. These Insights may be of help to individuals in times of personal crisis in their lives when they are looking for more meaning, spiritual love, help through serious illness and bereavement, and a source of inspiration that may help us through the whole range of human suffering.
WE ARE BUILDING A NEW "AWARENESS" which individuals can choose of their own Free Will to accept or reject.
In doing so we hope that many people will join together with us in an association of modern, logically thinking people who are looking for spiritual love, some degree of wisdom, and spiritual answers that are thought provoking, free of religious ritual, and free of the usual type of religious commitment.This community are part of the birth of a new style of spiritual philosophy called "Eternal Life".
We have no hidden agenda. Our motivation is to help others through human love and care, and increase the level of enlightenment concerning the most basic question of all: "What is the Meaning of Life?"
