WHY IS LIFE SO HARD? HOW CAN THERE BE A LOVING CARING GOD WHEN THERE IS SO MUCH SUFFERING IN THE WORLD? "Heaven" is a place of love. Love is the air that we breathe. Why can't we just stop there forever?
The Centre of all concsiousness is God or "The One" or "The God-Head". The One who gives us our purpose, is the Creator, and to whom we should always worship, praise and dedicate our lives in service.
Out of God is born fresh spiritual consciousness. New souls. This is a part of an eternal process of regeneration of the "God-Head"
New Souls are born with several basic needs:
A need to be loved
A need to Experience
A need to learn
New souls are given a duty: that is to GROW in love and care of each other.
If the souls in Heaven don't love and care for each other then Heaven itself couldn't survive.
New souls all have one basic "Fault". They (we) are in many ways self-centred.
A Comparison with real life
How does a good parent ensure that their child will grow to be a good, caring person?
Is the answer to protect the child, surround the child with love, spoil the child with everything he or she asks for?
Or is the answer to employ "tough love". Still loving the child, send him/her out into the world to experience and learn and grow as a person?
Well, God, our "Father" or equally "Mother" created the physical universe, created Earth, created life, and created our human bodies
just for that purpose. So we could, as new souls, go out and learn the hard way to hopefully experience, through life, and learn and grow as people. The ultimate aim is to grow to be more loving and caring of others, and be less self-centred. This enables Spiritual Advancement.
Many Lives
Of course in one life we may "get it wrong" or through tragedy or misfortune learn very little, and not advance.
However, through many lives we should all, except those who are evil, advance. Ultimately we will advance through many earthly lives, and then through Higher spiritual existense until eventually we converge/ re-unite to become One with the "God-Head"
So, we are given lives which are meant to be both wonderful and hard, pleasurable and tough. Lives that are meant to experience every emotion from joy to despair, happiness to sorrow, good fortune and poverty.
Although this might sound odd, the harder the life we have, the more we are likely to learn and grow.
At the end of life's days all of us, except those who are truly evil, return to the sanctuary of love in the place of "True Reality" - "Heaven"
"Heaven" is a very real place, and a place where we are given further instruction, and given lessons that help us learn from mistakes we made in life. We are shown the bad things we did - where we hurt others - and the good things we did, where we learnt to be more loving and caring.
