The Eternal Life Church holds Christian beliefs, and also believes in visions, clairvoyance, and intuitive messages, in response to our prayers and needs. The Bible has many accounts of visions, yet many Christian Churches are mistrustful of them. Clairvoyance is considered wrong because it is a sin to "Speak to the dead". We don't speak to those who are dead from sin, but by the Grace of God are given visions of those whose souls are safely "on the other side of life" in Heaven. Christians pray, but many are unwilling to confirm that a response to prayer might be valid, especially if someone claims to have received a message from an Angel. We believe that all our prayers to Father God are answered, and that Angels and Spiritual Beings working in the Light of God's will and purpose will bring visions and messages to those who are blessed with the gift of receiving visions. The Bible is full of accounts of miracles. We accept that miracles can and do still happen today.

The Christian Dilemna

The Bible passage 2 Corinthians 11:14 states that Satan himself appears as an angel of light. This Bible passage alone has led almost every learned Christian to deny or reject visions of Angels. Such visions are confined to Biblical times. Any visions since then, perhaps from any of the multitudes of Angels working in God's purpose have been shunned by Christian Priests because they might be the work of Satan. So we still live in times where a vision from an Angel results in a person being classed as suspicious, or possibly evil, and certainly non-Christian. The test should be: did the Angel bring unconditional love, healing, and genuine loving help and care? The Devil can only bring harm, and negative energy, and cannot bring love and healing. If we apply this "test" to such visions, perhaps miracles brought by Angels should be acknowledged as genuine. Perhaps we can accept that visions and miracles still happen today. However, I know that the learned Christians of all faiths will continue to quote a whole barrage of further Bible passages to ensure that we never fully acknowledge visions of Angels who are working in God's purpose to help and heal us in times of crisis in our lives.
